“Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen.

Please fasten your seatbelts, sit back and get ready for take off. We thank you for choosing our airlines and wish you a pleasant flight….“
While surrounded by an environment of international air travel, Globetrotter– perfumer Gérald Ghislain and Magali Sénéquier – designer - first jotted down his initial drafts for The Scent of Departure.
Indiana Jones dressed in tweed and sneakers and driven by their epicurean curiosity to experience the four corners of the planet, both found themselves fascinated by the idea of ubiquitousness.
What if we could take off for Abu Dhabi in a snap, without even having to pack?
What if our senses could be so aroused by a trip souvenir that we wouldn’t need to subject ourselves to long lines at terminal gates?
And what if the smell of the fresh cut grass in Central Park and those strong aromas so prevalent in the Big Apple could be united in one single drop of perfume?
Derived from such musings, The Scent of Departure proposes to crystallize the spirit of twenty unique and international world-class cities through a perfumatory prism.
The air infused with the sweet smell of lilacs in Central Park, with intoxicating perfumes from passersby on the Champs-Elysées, with clouds of spices wafting through Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar... Snapshots of the most spectacular cities in the world captured in just a few bottles of perfume.
Transcient, our scents come in slender bottles recalling the familiar three-letter tag that accompanies our bags as we travel to the other side of the world.
Created by designer Magalie Sénéquier – The Scent of Departure’s packaging incites you to re-experience the emotional pull of your travels.
